What would it mean to you to live really, truly well and be happy on your own terms?

Listen, I get it. You hustled hard to get to this point in your career, and you’ve achieved more than anyone thought was possible. Your success speaks for itself, and that’s something to be proud of. Yet, somewhere along the way, work became the escape from your home life, your personal life, and everything and everyone that mattered to you at one point. The people you love are all avoiding you because they’re tired of hearing about work, you’re arguing more days than not with your spouse and kids, and you’ve realized your friends have been making plans without you. You’re burnt out, stressed out, and resenting your family, friends, and the career you once dreamed of - yet your career is the thing you run to every day, while you run away from your life.

It’s so easy, though, to forget about those things while you’re busy getting caught up in trying to manage the world around you screaming for you to do more, make more money, win more awards, buy more stuff (that you don’t actually need), start more businesses or climb higher on the corporate ladder…. You get the idea. While you were busy achieving, your life got put on pause because you fell into living on everyone else’s terms.

Hitting the play button on your life will require you to do something different - dropping right back into that cycle of hustle and grind to achieve all.the.things isn’t gonna do it this time. After all… you can’t strong-arm your way into being happy.

I’m Kelly, licensed clinical social worker and certified life, nutrition, and fitness coach

I’ve been where you are - stuck, frustrated, overwhelmed, and lost.

I knew that I wanted a huge life, packed with experiences I could share with the people I loved the most in this world, but for years I was caught in what felt like a never ending cycle of trying to live on everyone else’s terms, be what they wanted me to be, and comparing myself to anyone who appeared even remotely more successful and together than I was.

My self-talk was shit, I had every excuse in the book for why I couldn’t take a risk on anything, I had no boundaries, and was the most welcoming doormat you’ve ever met. I.Was.Miserable.

In the process of leaving a bad relationship, a bad job, and a house I couldn’t stand, I finally committed to me - I dove headfirst into therapy, took the time to understand my weaknesses, my strengths, and everything in between, and learned how to start showing up for myself, on my own terms, so that I could become the person I was always meant to be. I realized that I had always been my own best expert, and that I had always been worthy of being happy and living my way, no matter what anyone else said.

I’m dedicated to continuing that work for the rest of my life, because the freedom, empowerment, and inspiration that’s risen from it is priceless.

As a therapist and self-leadership coach, this is the experience I want all my clients to have. You deserve to feel worthy and whole, just as you are, because who you are has always been good enough.
